Why I created Hire Proximity.

I’ve spent a better part of my career in HR, watching how talent moves, and more importantly, how it doesn’t. I’ve seen students with potential get filtered out before a human ever reads their resume. I’ve seen families struggle to understand what “networking” actually means. And I’ve seen how proximity to employers, to mentors, to opportunity, changes everything.
That’s why I created Hire Proximity.
This isn’t just a business. It’s a response to a broken system. One where entry-level roles are disappearing, hiring is increasingly automated, and students are left guessing how to stand out. The deeper I dug into the problem, the clearer it became: this isn’t a small gap. It’s a massive one.
We may not be able to solve it for everyone. But we’re going to do everything we can for the students and families we do reach.
We’re building real access. Real conversations. Real preparation. We’re helping students understand their strengths, communicate their value, and connect with employers who are ready to invest in emerging talent.
Because the truth is, not everyone has a personal connection ready to guide them along.
But everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen.
